Agility teaching, training and competing is not a job for me, it's a passion. On a daily basis I experience the benefits of living with happy, loving, understanding dogs. Because of that I want people and their dogs to benefit from the canine human bond that is developed through positive training.
My Philosophy:
"If you are not having fun, neither is your dog!"
The classes I teach range from Introduction to Advanced Agility.
With each class I try to build the curriculum around my current students and their dogs. Not all dogs are created equal, and not all dog owners are created equal as well. I think it's important to take advantage of the strengths of each dog and handler partnership and build their education from the ground up.
Before you start, here are some important things to know:
- Agility is addictive!
- Agility Classes are not just for people that want to compete!
- Agility is a fun and active way to bond with your dog!
- Agility is for pure breeds, mix breeds, small dogs, big dogs, any dog really!
- Agility is a great confidence builder for both the dogs and handlers!
- Agility is FUN!
If you specific training or class questions please feel free to contact me to discuss what would work for you and your dog. Private lessons are also available and will be tailored to your individual goals.
